Established in 1995 in Sowripalayam, Coimbatore — a Tamil Nadu State Board co-educational institution run by the Annai Velankanni Educational Trust. Approved by the Directorate of Matriculation Schools, Govt. of Tamil Nadu (R.C.No. 002-M-0017-0617).

About the school

There are schools built to be big. We were built to be right.

Right for the children of Sowripalayam. Right for the families of Coimbatore who believe that education is not a transaction to be completed, but a relationship to be nurtured. It began in 1995, when Mr. Victor Sagayaraj and Dr. Mercy Victor founded this school with one belief: that every child deserves quality education delivered with genuine care.

Today, Annai Velankanni MHS School educates students from LKG to Class XII, following the Samacheer Kalvi Syllabus under the State Board of Tamil Nadu. Our students have earned State Ranks, won national competitions, and gone on to distinguished colleges and careers.

We serve families from Sowripalayam, Peelamedu, Ramanathapuram, Ganapathy, Singanallur, Saravanampatti, RS Puram, Gandhipuram, and communities across Coimbatore. We are part of this city. We are invested in its children.
